A Study of the Interpersonal Skills and Operational Duties of Graduates of the Community Development Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social

The objective of this research study was to: (1) investigate the interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities of graduates from the area of community development, and (2) to compare the average interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities of graduates of the Community Development Program; sex, work experience, graduate user position in the agency, the organization's nature is classified. The graduate user's position in the agency and the type of the organization, there are 33 graduate users in the population and the sample group, by administering surveys and evaluating the data with a software program to determine the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. The results showed that: (1) investigate the interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities of graduates from the area of community development at the highest level (mean = 4.56, SD = 0.19), and (2) to compare the average interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities of graduates of the Community Development Program, sex classification resulted in statistically significant differences at .05, which was consistent with the hypothesis. Work experiences the positions of graduate users in the department and the features of the organization were not significantly different at .05, which did not adhere to the predetermined assumptions.

Introduction

Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University's Bachelor of Arts Program, Community Development Program Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences has produced community developers. which is the core of production

“Community developers” because community development courses are available to get knowledge and expertise in community development jobs [1], are prepared to work successfully in community development for different organizations, including government agencies, the local sector, and the private sector, in terms of knowledge, skills, and ethics, in order to instill a feeling of love and loyalty to the motherland Have a public consciousness that is concerned about the local community, can be a powerful and sustainable community development leader who organizes collaborations with all sectors. [1, 2].

When students graduate, they will become "graduates" who will have completed their studies in community development and will be able to work in a variety of areas. As a consequence, recommendations or satisfaction with the performance of graduates who graduated from the community development program exist, so that the community development program may utilize order to develop and enhance teaching and learning. To adhere to the required requirements for generating graduates and students' learning standards in 5 groups, namely morals and ethics, knowledge, and intellectual capabilities, interpersonal skills and responsibilities, as well as in numerical analysis, communication, and information technology [1]. Particularly important are the interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities that must be developed in accordance with the current employment, should establish in graduate’s accountability for their responsibilities. Recognize the profession that works with determination and accountability.

Love what you do and educate yourself so you'll have the skill and knowledge to practice that profession with integrity and respect for your own professional ethics [3].

Because of the relevance stated above, it is worthwhile to study the topic “A study of the interpersonal skills and operational duties of graduates of the Community Development Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, Thailand”, answering the topic what are the interpersonal skills and operational duties of Community Development graduates?, and how do the typical interpersonal skills and performance obligations of community development graduates differ?, in order to be congruent with actual labor in terms of efficiency and effectiveness.

Objectives

1. To study of the interpersonal skills and operational duties of graduates of the Community Development Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University.

2. To compare the average interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities of graduates of the Community Development Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University; sex, work experience, graduate user position in the agency, the organization's nature is classified.

Research Hypothesis

1. Graduate users of sex, average interpersonal skills, and performance duties of graduates from the Community Development Program Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University are all distinct.

2.Graduate users of work experience, average interpersonal skills, and performance duties of graduates from the Community Development Program Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University are all distinct.

3.Graduate users of graduate user position in the agency, average interpersonal skills, and performance duties of graduates from the Community Development Program Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University are all distinct.

4.Graduate users of the organization's nature, average interpersonal skills, and performance duties of graduates from the Community Development Program Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University are all distinct.

Concept and Theory

A detailed examination of theoretical topics from the Bachelor of Arts program's learning requirements. Revised Curriculum 2017 of the Curriculum Administrative Committee Bachelor of Arts in Community Development in Interpersonal Skills and Responsibilities: Students are able to converse Create an excellent working connection for coordination. Collaborate successfully with varied groups of people, be a facilitator for issue resolution and community development in a variety of scenarios, and have role-based duties. Duties owed to oneself, one's group, and society as a whole, experienced in driving development work with local community development network partners in various sectors, Able to plan and be responsible for continuous learning, personal and professional development, Able to adapt to work with others in the group both as leaders and associates to create teamwork and resolve conflicts in a peaceful and tranquil way [1].

Methodology

1. The population and sample were graduate users, with 122 graduates graduating in 2018-2019 and a job number of 33 persons [4, 5]

2. The data collecting instrument was a questionnaire developed as a result of a research that examined standardized learning documents based on the specifics of the Bachelor of Arts in Community Development program. The course on interpersonal skills and responsibility was redesigned in 2017 [1]. Then, within in the questionnaire, create a questionnaire. Examine the substance and language. The completed questionnaire should next be used to enhance the questions based on expert opinion. The questionnaire is divided into three sections, which are as follows: Part 1 of the respondents' general information is as continues to follow: sex, work experience, graduate user position in the agency, the organization's nature. It is a question that you can choose to answer. Part 2 of the interpersonal skills and operational duties of Community Development Program graduates. By using the conceptual framework of learning standards based on the characteristics of the Bachelor of Arts Program in Community Development. The course on interpersonal skills and responsibility was redesigned in 2017. It is a five-level evaluation instrument that gives interpretation criteria for the average interpersonal skills and performance responsibilities of Community Development program graduates [6], Part 3 of the problems and suggestions section includes open-ended questions.

3. Gathering of information, the researcher obtained formal documentation to gather data from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, as well as to distribute surveys to graduate users by mail, Line, and Facebook, totaling 33 sets. Following the distribution of the questionnaire two weeks ago, 33 questionnaires were returned, and the questionnaires were utilized to check the correctness and completeness of the responses for further analysis.

4. Data analysis includes, Part 1 includes the analysis and interpretation of the general data of the respondents collected from the questionnaire. Analyze data using statistical software like amount, percentage as well as a figure for annotation. Data analysis on interpersonal skills and responsibilities in the performance of graduates who graduated from the area of community development obtained from the questionnaire in part 2 by analyzing and interpreting the data with a computer and using a statistical package to analyze the data, including mean, standard deviation, and use of a table to explain the data. Differences in average interpersonal skills and job responsibilities of graduates from the Community Development program grouped by sex and job experience are compared. The graduate user's position in the agency and the type of the organization an explanatory table was used to assess the statistical references t-test and F-test.

5. Statistics that are used in data analysis, The researcher analyzed the data using statistics such as amount, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.

Result

1. According to the general information of the respondents, the majority of the samples were males, with 18 people accounting for 69.23 percent, having 10-20 years of work experience, 11 people accounting for 43.31 percent, and having the position of a graduate user in the agency as a supervisor, 15 people accounting for a 57.69%, and possesses the characteristics of a government agency, with a total of 10 persons representing 38.46 percent, as indicated in Figure 1-4:

2. The interpersonal skills and operational duties of graduates of the Community Development Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, discovered at the highest level (mean = 4.56, SD = 0.19), When each item was ranked in order of average, it was discovered that the ability to communicate was the item with the create an excellent working connection for coordination, excellent coordination with groups of individuals at the highest level (mean = 4.73, SD = 0.45), The second need was the capacity to give aid and act as a facilitator in addressing issues and establishing communities in a variety of settings at the highest level. (mean = 4.62, SD = 0.57), and the lowest mean was being able to work with others in the group in both leadership and co- worker roles to create teamwork and resolve conflicts of peace and tranquility with a high level (mean = 4.38, SD = 0.69), as indicated in Table 1:

Conclusionand Discussion

1. The interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities of graduates from the area of community development at the highest level (mean = 4.56, SD = 0.19), Graduate users believe that community development graduates can form working connections, assist and coordinate, solve issues and build strong communities in a variety of settings, establish work with local community development networks, and play a leadership and teamwork role. In line with Thongteeraphap's research [3], discovered that graduates are accountable for their obligations. Recognize the profession that works with drive and responsibility. Love what you do and educate yourself so that you will have the expertise and knowledge to conduct that career with integrity and respect for your own professional ethics.

2. The compare the average interpersonal skills and operational responsibilities of graduates of the Community Development Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University; sex, work experience, graduate user position in the agency, the organization's nature is classified, resulted in statistically significant differences at .05, which was consistent with the hypothesis. Work experiences the positions of graduate users in the department and the features of the organization were not significantly different at .05, which did not adhere to the predetermined assumptions. This is consistent with a study by Department Executive director of Community Development [1], and Khaenamkhaew [2], qualified in terms of knowledge, abilities, and ethics to work successfully in community development for various organizations, including government agencies, the local sector, and the private sector, in order to foster a feeling of love and dedication to the motherland Having a public awareness that is concerned about the local community might be a long-term and beneficial community development tool.

Suggestion

Graduates of Community Development should be encouraged to learn more about their hometowns by providing opportunities to work in their hometowns and for the public, as well as to recognize their own values. are

"community developers" who use their expertise and skills to work until they are accepted by the community.
